New Event: Dragon Grid
- Brainstorming a new event with lite-rpg puzzle gameplay
- Deconstructing multiple games with similar mechanics
- Prototyping the levels in Unity with the feature's coder
- Documenting the design specifications in Confluence based on the results of the prototype
- Defining the art direction with the 2D/3D artists to fit into the overall theme of the event
- Tracking and reviewing the asset creation using Jira from concept to final assets
- Collaborating on the narrative structure and story progression of the event with the senior narrative designer
- Testing the balance and difficulty reporting my findings to the game economy designer
Collectible IAP feature
- Blending new and old UI elements to keep production costs manageable
- Designing a new reward flow accommodating the monetization team's strategy
- Adapting the purchase flow to a collectible IAP set in collaboration with the product managers
- Reviewing the concept art and asset creation to fit the premium theme
- Planning a sustainable production pipeline for future iterations of the feature
